Unfortunately the skin on my face that was biopsied last week is cancerous. It is another basal cell carcinoma. I will be having another Mohs surgical procedure to cut it out at the end of June 2024. #skincancer #roughingitwithruth #skin

Hi. I’m a big time camper. Nice video. Only problem is it’s got too pricey today which they will learn just like in the UK and loose business. Nkwe are crazy for charging for electricity. So I would never go there. This is the first time I have heard of that and I have camped in plenty places all over. SO I WILL AVOID Nkwe camp site. Cheers. Look forward to more videos.

The coldest I have ever been was camping in Pretoria with the Boy Scouts. I'm Scottish, but I lived in South Africa for a long time. I always thoroughly enjoyed it.

I may have gone to the top of the burg alone 4 times this year and I’m only 18. Sorry it’s just too fun
Keep enjoying the berg but be safe, maybe a gps communicator, and her point about rescue being potentially days away is very valid with rescue-chopper availability at the moment in this country. Love solo hikes myself as well, just saying bru, anything can happen.

Who on earth takes a tent on the Fish. Sleeping in the open under those remarkable stars is part of the Fish experience. A light poncho will suffice. All the advice from so called professionals is fine but only experience counts.
I do take a tent 😀 We had a lot of wind the evenings, and I found that the blowing sand really bugged me, and got into all my food and gear, which is why I decided to sleep in a tent.

that's not a wild pig 100% been looked after
This pigs story is quite interesting. She was fully wild, and in her youth she was acted as you might expect a wild pig to act. However, her mate was scared away during some construction in the reserve, and she became the only pig living within the reserve. As she got older, she hung around the border of the reserve near residences, and some of the residents began feeding her and eventually interacting with her. This has resulted in her more 'tame' behaviour now. She is now very, very old and mostly deaf and possibly a bit blind. I still recommend being cautious if you come across her, as she is not a domestic animal and can be unpredictable.
